Welcome to Patrician Designs by Patricia Converse. I offer long arm quilting services to help you bring your lovely pieced/appliquéd quilt top to completion. As a professional longarm quilter I can bring my skill resulting from class room study, many hours of creative practice and hundreds of completed customer quilts to your quilt. Each quilt is unique. Quilting is the textural element of a quilt that can make the quilt “sing”. I use a hand guided Gammill Optimum Plus longarm quilting machine to machine stitch designs onto your quilt. When the quilt top, batting and backing are loaded onto the machine and stitched, that stitching both creates design and anchors the layers together for many years of use. The process of hand guiding the machine is aided by following patterns and using templates and rulers. I also stitch free hand designs. So the range of possibilities I can offer you for your special quilt is vast.
