Looking for a fun program for your guild? Pat offers a variety of lectures and workshops.

Quilt Book Trunk Show – Pat will bring the quilts from her books to show and talk about her journey as a quilter. She will answer questions on techniques and design.

Embellished Appliqué – This workshop will cover many appliqué techniques in Pat’s book . The students will make small sample books to keep.

Finishing Touches– Pat’s best tips for backings, bindings and borders covered in a 1 hour lecture.

Quilt as Desired? – This lecture covers ideas about quilting as a design element of the entire quilt. Thoughts on hand and machine quilting that can be done at home.

Color Play – This is a hands-on 1 hour lecture or 3 hour workshop during which Pat will share her approach to using color as a design element in quilts.

Sew With Leather – Pat will show how to use your domestic sewing machine to make a small project with suede. She will demonstrate the tricks for working with suede, featured in her book, Learn to Quilt With Leather.

Scherenschnitte Workshop – Learn about the traditional Swiss/German folk art of paper cutting and make a project to take home. In this 3 hour workshop Pat will teach some history of paper cutting, original design techniques, and offer a choice of projects to complete.
